What are the fees?

From 1 January 2026, the session fee is $210. Standard consultation is usually between 45-60 minutes. Ellis is a Medicare provider. To access the Medicare rebate of $98.95 for counselling with a psychologist, you will need a GP referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP).

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in a charge of 50% of the session fee. 

• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice or failing to attend a booked session will result in a charge of 100% of the session fee.

• Cancellations fees cannot be claimed through Medicare or private health insurance.

• Where there are extenuating circumstances which have impacted cancellations, please discuss this with Ellis.
